Our cat of the day today is Sprinkles!
She is very sweet and loves to pur. She does not need to be the center of attention but she still loves human companionship and snuggles. She feeds off of her sisters energy at adoption events so she also has been a little shy and hissy out at Petsmart but is a perfectly sweet little kitty at home. She is looking for a lap to keep warm this fall. Let us know if youd like to meet her!

Cats of the day are Froggie and Fiona 🐸💚
These cuties are looking for a forever home, together or separate! They’re both snuggly and playful. They get along well with other cats and aren’t afraid of dogs. They’re both spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and current on flea prevention and are ready to go home with a new family!
If you are interested in adding one (or both!) of these babies to your family email us at thebarkerrescueproject@gmail.com ... See MoreSee Less

Cat of the day is Lucky!
Hello! My name is Lucky and am about four months old. I was found stuck in an air conditioning unit! I suffered a few lacerations from the fan blades, but am healed up nicely now! I truly was lucky that someone heard my soft cries and busted me out!
Because I am still a kitten, I am full of energy and love to play! Some of my favs are feather toys, rolly balls and fuzzy mice (not the real kind!). I am not afraid of dogs (though the one I live with would prefer I leave it alone!) and have also been around ferrets, which I find fascinating! I have not really been around other cats, except for interacting through the glass doors. They seem okay; I think I would like playing with them.
I also love, love human interaction!! Playing, pets, cuddles ... sign me up! I can be a bit of a shadow because I like to know what my human is up to so I can ‘help’ them however I can!
So if you are interested in a kitty that is a total package, I just may be your girl! For questions or to set up a meet and greet, send an email to thebarkerrescueproject@gmail.com! I can’t wait to meet you!!! ... See MoreSee Less

Cat of the day is Shaggy!
He is approximately 3.5-4 months old and fully vetted. Shaggy has let us know he is fed up with traveling to adoption events on the weekends and not finding his forever family. At foster home he is very playful and outgoing. Snuggles up to his siblings and foster parents for attention when hes done playing with his siblings. However, lately at events he has become impatient and hissy just wanting to go back to his foster home and familiar sounds/smells. We hope he finds his forever family soon so he can finally relax in the comfort and safety of his own home. If you are interested in knowing more about Shaggy and setting up a meet and greet, please comment below or email us at thebarkerrescueproject@gmail.com ... See MoreSee Less

Cat of the day is Fred!
Hes approximately 3.5-4 months old and such a love bug at his foster home. He enjoys playing with his siblings both furry and human! He is fully vetted and ready to find his forever family. He hasn't been around dogs, but with a slow introduction and time to adjust we think he'd open up and see one as a playmate.
