Mission Statment
The Barker Rescue Project is a foster-based, cat-only 501©(3) rescue dedicated to matching families with loving, forever companions. Every cat in our care lives in a home environment while awaiting adoption. We accept:
- Cats and kittens
- Pregnant and nursing mothers
- Owner surrenders (as space allows)
- Local shelter assistance cases
- Limited TNR efforts when resources allow

Cat of the day is Abigale
This precious girl is a little more shy than her siblings but, with a little patience she can be your best friend! She has the softest purr and loves to play! She also has a beautiful shiny coat that she loves to warm in sunny spots in the house.

Cat of the day is Joja!
This sweet boy is the most outgoing of his litter and he makes friends quickly! He loves to play and get attention but his favorite thing is food! He goes crazy for treats and his favorite time of day is meal time!

Cat of the days is Junimo
This sweet girl loves to play and be pet! Her hair is so shiny and smooth you’ll never want to stop petting her and she would be okay with that! She is a sister to Krobus who you met yesterday and Abigale and Joja who you’ll meet in the next 2 days. All of them would be great as pairs or on their own. She can take a second to warm up to new people but, a couple of toys and she’ll be unable to resist!
